Principals Report

Sue Carr

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of St Brendan’s,

What a busy and productive term it has been. As we approach the holidays, I want to take a moment to reflect on our Term 2 journey, share some exciting news about this week and look ahead to some exciting developments that will commence in Term 3.

External School Review

Today marks a significant milestone for St Brendan’s. This week, we welcome Mrs Kylie Graham; an experienced and highly credentialed school reviewer to St Brendan’s to look deeply at our last four years of work. This collaborative process is an exciting opportunity for us to reflect on our growth and map out where we head next in the important areas of Religious Education, Learning and Teaching, Leadership and Management, Student Engagement and School Community. Over the coming days, the reviewer will help us identify:

  • Things to celebrate: where she recognises the hard work, achievements and unique strengths of our school.

  • Insights and Feedback: where she evaluates our teaching practices, student engagement and school culture.

  • Things to Improve: where she looks deeply to find areas where we can stretch, grow and better serve our learners.

  • Future Suggestions: where she provides expert guidance to shape our next strategic 4 year School Improvement Plan.

We look forward to sharing Kylie’s feedback, insights and our future directions with the community early next term.
