SPC Cycling Central
It's been all go from the start of the year for cycling with most of the MTB Network holding up very well to the hot summer. Many of the Trails have had whipper snipping done by Parks NT during this time and, unlike last year, they are visible and riding well which has been perfect for the first events in MTB for the year.
MTB Ex-activity has started strong with groups departing from the Outdoor Education Shed at 6:15am each Wednesday. Sign-ups for this are through the Operoo system under Ex-Activities sign up or by contacting Lisa O'Brien at the college.
Pigs Race
Pigs Race 3rd Feb saw 30 riders try their hand at rolling the Piggy Dice with many a rider Pigging out!
The Standouts in The Pigs Race are members of the SPC Swifties with junior numbers growing steadily with students trying their best during these events.
HOP Power Series
HOP Power Series Started well with 30 plus riders at Eagle Court.
Again HOP 2 was held at Westside Trail head on the 17th with SPC students and staff well represented check out the results here.
CARR MTB Club

"Making it Happen" for the MTB community in Alice Springs. There is nothing better than being a part of this dynamic mountain bike club in Alice Springs. As CARR members and volunteers, we have access to truly make a difference to the community.
From building new and improving old trail on our network to directing a major event where you get to see others giving it there all and have a fun, safe and social time while doing so there are just so many ways that you can get the benefits of volunteering.
Giving back to the community could look like:
-Joining the Trail Crew - being involved in building and maintenance works on the network
-Race Directing - or part of the Events Team such as Race Directing and planning, setup or pack down, timing or course marking to name a few
-Education Team - Instructor development pathways, first aid training, running skills sessions, involvement in school programs and 'Dusty Demon's'
- Committee Member - be a part of the behind-the-scenes team that makes it all happen

Red Centre BMX
Red Centre BMX have now sealed their berms with asphalt during the summer break so racing will be very fast in 2024. Our own Caleb Nicol, Jye Harvey, Dysen Drew and Cooper Drew are currently away racing their way around the country.
Results for the Ocean Continental Championships after some tight racing

- Cooper Drew - Ranked 6th in 13 Boys

ASCC
ASCC have been running their Crit Series out at the Telegraph Station each Sunday morning so there is much to get excited about. Track Racing at the velodrome will also be starting on Thursdays from 29 February onwards.
