So proud

Yesterday, we had the honour of playing a small part in the funeral of former Holy Trinity student, Nick Tindall. Students from Years 5 through 10 formed a guard of honour on the footpath as the funeral procession passed from the Town Hall to the cemetery. Our 14's and 16's Rugby League teams also honoured Nick with a minute's silence before their games at the Small Schools Regional Finals in Coonabarabran.

Our students were keen to show their support for the Tindall family and to pay respect to a former member of our school community. The reverence and respect they displayed was truly outstanding and a testament to the strong community we've built together. I couldn't be prouder of our students—they are truly great young people. As parents, you should also be very proud of their compassion and ability to demonstrate care and thoughtfulness. We continue to keep Tracey, Brad, Sam, Lachie and Gabi in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

Congratulations Mrs Wait !

On Friday, Mrs Jacqui Wait was presented with accreditation as a Lead Teacher by NESA. HALT accreditation is a voluntary national certification. It recognises and promotes the development of collaborative practice. It also supports teachers to continually reflect upon and improve their practice and the practice of colleagues. I was happy to be able to be present to see Jacq receive her medallion. We have been fortunate to have Jacqui join our team this year.

Your Feedback Matters: Annual School Survey

An annual satisfaction survey of parents, students and staff will be conducted on behalf of all Catholic schools in the Diocese this term. The surveys are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff and students about our school and will be used to inform school improvement. Responses are confidential, and individuals can not be identified. The surveys will be launched via email on Monday, 25 August 2025 using the email addresses supplied to the school. If you do not receive an email with a link to the survey, you can access and complete the survey via the following link. https://www.research.net/r/HolyTrinityInverellPARENT2025  The survey will close on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

Your feedback is incredibly valued and plays a significant role in shaping our school's direction. It helps us identify what is working well and where we need to focus our time and energy to ensure the best possible learning environment for all our students. We truly appreciate as many families as possible contributing to this survey.

Planning for 2026

A Compass notification will be sent this week to our Year 6 families to find out if their child will be staying with us for secondary so we can order iPads for 2026. Please respond by the due date.
