Hello from your Parents & Friends Committee!

It was fantastic to see students of all ages having fun at the disco last week! We introduced temporary tattoos this year which appeared to be a hit with the students. While not everything ran to plan or as smoothly as we had hoped, it was a super fun day for our students and if your child attended, we hope they had lots of fun. 

We’d like to give a shout out to DJ Repete who came to blast the tunes; we have received lots of great feedback about him already. Thank you to all of the staff and families who supported us to make this event happen. We had some lovely volunteers help us out on the day and we are truly grateful. 

We have now shifted our focus to the Father’s Day stall where we are focusing on getting our final stock orders in to make sure there is enough stock for those who have ordered. 

As mentioned above, we are working on ensuring we have enough stock and will be placing a final stock order very soon. If you haven’t already ordered and would like to, PLEASE head to Qkr NOW to place your orders. QKR ordering must close this Monday 18th August. We understand that family life gets busy and things get forgotten, and we never want any student to miss out, BUT as this event relies on us providing enough stock for students to shop, we cannot accept late orders this time.

UNIFORM DONATIONS NEEDED

If you have uniform items that you no longer need, please drop them into the school office.

We will accept all uniform items that meet the LPPS uniform policy. In the lead up to summer, if you find your child has outgrown their uniforms from last summer (they grow too fast don’t they!?), please consider donating them to us. The money raised from the uniform stall will be used for things around the school depending on need. We are currently aiming to fund extra resources for our PE Department.

Next PFC Meeting: Tuesday 2nd September, 2:00pm in the PFC Room/Uniform Shop (Next to the Canteen). Kids are always welcome.
