                            A Prayer for Our Farmers and Community

  Loving God, We give you thanks for the gift of creation and the changing of the seasons. As the land around us shifts from one season to the next, we pray especially for our farmers here in Rushworth and across our wider community.

Bless the soil, the rain, and the sunshine, that crops may grow in abundance and provide a fruitful harvest. Grant our farmers strength, patience, and resilience as they care for the land and tend to their livestock. May they find hope in times of challenge and joy in times of plenty.

We pray for gentle rains to nourish the earth, for feed to sustain animals, and for safety in the long hours of work that farmers undertake with such dedication. May they always feel the support of our community and the love of God in their daily labours.

Lord, as you entrusted creation to our care, help us all to be good stewards of the environment, showing respect and gratitude for the blessings of the land. May the work of our farmers remind us of the connection we share with the earth and with one another.
