3/4 CLASSROOM

This fortnight we have finalised our book the Iron man. With this we have created some information reports about iron. Everyone did an excellent job with the structure and contents of their writing piece. 

This week we started our new book 'Charlottes Web' an old classic that we discovered was written over 70 years ago! To celebrate the beginning of our new book we had a reading cafe. With this we enjoyed a hot milo and some biscuits while Mrs Brook read the first two chapters, and the students drew a new version of the front cover. 

In inquiry we have been learning about sacred places in Australia. We have learnt some really interesting things about the sacred places in Australia like...

• The Olgas are taller than Uluru.
• The Great Barrier Reef has around 70 different Mobs that take care of it and call it home.
