Wolfmother launches our Alumni
Former The Gap State High School student and WOLFMOTHER frontman Andrew Stockdale returned to our school on Friday night for the launch of the school’s first official Alumni community.
The special evening brought together generations of former students, staff and three of our principals, celebrating the school’s history since 1960 while looking to the future.
A highlight was Stockdale performing alongside current students from the school’s Excellence: Accelerated Music Program (AMPed), creating a memorable connection between a former student who went on to international success and the next generation of Gap musicians.
The new Alumni community aims to reconnect former students and staff and provide opportunities for alumni to come home and hold class and year-level milestone reunions back at the school, as well as mentor students, volunteer, share career and industry connections, support fundraising and help inspire future generations.
