Year 8 Chinese Incentive Game Group Competition 2026

All Year 8 Chinese students recently took part in the annual Chinese Incentive Group Competition, an exciting event designed to showcase students’ Chinese language skills, creativity and teamwork.

Students competed in teams within their classes, completing a range of engaging challenges that tested their speaking, listening, cultural knowledge and problem-solving skills. 

Following the class competitions, the top-performing team from each Year 8 Chinese class earned a place in the Grand Final, where the best teams competed against one another to become the 2026 champions.

The Grand Final was held on Tuesday of Week 7, bringing together our strongest teams from across the Year 8 Chinese classes. The finalists demonstrated excellent teamwork, enthusiasm and Chinese language skills throughout the competition.

• Second Place: 8J & 8H
