Principal's Report
Welcome to the 2025 school year.
It has been a fantastic start for our Year 7 students as they transition to secondary school with our ‘Keys to Success’ program. We are looking forward to their upcoming camp next week, which will further support their integration into the Beaumaris Secondary College community.
Our Year 8 students have settled into their new learning teams and have commenced their languages of choice, while students in Years 9 and 10 are engaging in a diverse range of specialisms. Meanwhile, our Year 11 students are preparing and engaging with the demands of a full VCE program of study.
The Class of 2025 departed for their final school camp at Forest Edge CYC yesterday. This experience provides them with the opportunity to reconnect after the school break, set goals for the year and create wonderful memories. We wish them all the best for a successful final year at Beaumaris and an enjoyable Year 12 Formal, which will be held on Friday, 14 February at Lakeside Pavilion in Albert Park.
Effective Communication
Communication is fundamental to student success. We encourage parents to refer to our Communications Policy for guidance on identifying the appropriate contact person. The GOAL program plays an essential role in ensuring clarity, with the GOAL Mentor serving as the first point of contact. Our dedicated Heads of Houses lead a dynamic house-based system that provides proactive support, fostering student growth and achievement.
We invite parents to participate in events throughout the year and encourage feedback to help us maintain and enhance our educational environment.

This year, we will hold School Council Elections for three parent representatives and one School Employee representative. Nominations open today (February 6, 2025) and close at 4pm on 13 February 2025 - please see Compass for details. The full election timeline is as follows:
