General Information

Term 4 Hats
A reminder that in Term 4 it is compulsory to wear a sunsmart hat outdoors while at school taking part in outdoor activities. A sunsmart hat has a broad brim or is a legionaire style which covers the ears and neck.
A cap is not a sunsmart hat and should not be worn at school.
The office has a supply of broad brim hats at a cost of $10 each should you need to purchase one.
Children may experience a wide range of emotional, social and psychological issues that might impact their behaviour at school or at home. Examples include friendship difficulties, anxiety, bullying, grief, traumatic events and confidence/self-esteem issues.
Richmond West provides a short-term professional counselling service onsite to assist students and their families deal with concerns of these types.
If you would like your child to see our counsellor Graciela, please contact your class teacher or Kathryn Axisa to obtain the forms needed. There is no cost for the service provided. Most children attend six sessions but there is also an option for more ongoing care if required. Graciela will consult with you as to your concerns for your child but will see children individually during school time.
Dear parents and carers,
This World Teachers' Day, let's show our wonderful teachers and school staff how much we appreciate them with a morning tea. Would you be able to contribute a plate of food to leave for the staff's morning tea?
What to bring
Any finger food is welcome, sweet or savoury. Please make sure it's nut-free. A little note from your child would make it extra special.
When and where
Please drop your plate to the staff room upstairs on the morning of Wednesday 28 October 2026. The food will be enjoyed throughout the day, so dropping it off before midday is fine too.
Having food delivered?
Please address it to school reception and include a note saying it's for the staff morning tea.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with Vivian at vivian.vk@gmail.com
Thank you for your generous support at such a busy time of year.
Just a reminder school starts at 9am and ALL students should be in their classroom ready to start the day by 9am.
It is important students arrive on time for school as continual late arrives is disruptive to the class.
Classroom doors are open from 8:50am each day.
Access to School
Please remember that our school yard is supervised from 8:45am - 9:00am in the morning and the school day ends at 3:30pm. Please contact the school directly if you are unable to pick your child up by 3:30pm and arrangements can be made for them to be supervised by TeamKids.
We ask all families to register with TeamKids, even if you never use the service. During times when things crop up, it is worthwhilejust to have the option.
Please note, we are unable to supervise students at the office before 8:45am or after 3:45pm.
