Sport and PE

It has been a fantastic and energetic Term 1 in Physical Education!
Our Middle and Senior students have been busy developing their volleyball skills, focusing on passing, setting, serving, and game strategies. It has been wonderful to see students improving their technique, communicating effectively with teammates, and building confidence through small-sided games as they prepare for interschool sports.
Our Junior students have been challenged through a range of activities designed to test and strengthen their fundamental motor skills. They have been working on balance, coordination, agility, and control through fun and engaging movement challenges. It has been great to see their enthusiasm and willingness to give everything a go.
Across all year levels, students have also begun exploring our Health unit on food groups. They are learning about the different food groups, the importance of balanced nutrition, and how healthy eating supports their growth, energy levels, and performance in Physical Education.
A huge congratulations to all of our students who represented our school at the District Swimming Carnival. Their effort, sportsmanship, and determination were outstanding, and we are incredibly proud to announce that our school won the Small Schools District Swimming Shield, a fantastic achievement!
We are especially proud of Scarlett, Amelia, Ariana, Lincoln, Liam, Oliver P and Daniel who have all progressed to the Division Round and to Scarlett and Ariana who then progressed to Regionals. Although they didn't progress through to State we are extremely proud of them making it this far.
