Jazz Cabaret Evening

SOLD OUT! – The Jazz Cabaret is a special night that will showcase the incredible talent across our music program, with students collaborating to perform a wide variety of jazz repertoire at the St Kilda Town Hall in two weeks.
Audiences will enjoy performances from a range of ensembles, including choirs, bands and orchestra, as well as several featured performances that highlight the dedication and hard work students have put into preparing for the event.
Designed as a relaxed and vibrant concert experience, the evening invites guests to sit back, enjoy the music and share the atmosphere with friends and family. For those lucky ticket holders – we encourage you to bring your own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy while listening to the performances.
We need Parent helpers and small prize donations for raffles!

Battle of the Bands
Get ready to rock and roll at our much-anticipated “Battle of the Bands” event happening on Tuesday 31st of March!
This electrifying competition will showcase the incredible talent of our students as they take to the stage to perform their best musical pieces. The event promises an afternoon of lively entertainment and competing bands from all year levels across the senior school.
Melbourne Recital Centre – Baroque Competition 2026
Formerly known as Melbourne Recital Centre’s Bach Competition, this event’s recent expansion to encompass repertoire from the entire Baroque period lets young artists explore the works of hundreds of composers.
This competition is open to any instrument(s) soloists, duos or small ensembles (five or less) 17 years of age and under (at 1 January 2026). A minimum performance level of AMEB Grade 5 or equivalent is expected.
Competition repertoire will consist of any works composed between the year 1600 to 1750 by any composer, not exceeding 10 minutes in total duration. The Competition Final will be held at Melbourne Recital Centre on Saturday 30 May 2026.

AUSTA VIC String Performers Festival
AUSTA VIC warmly invites string students of all levels to participate in the 2026 String Performers Festival. A welcoming, non-competitive performance opportunity designed to build confidence and performance experience.
Held on Sunday 29 March at Yarra Valley Grammar (Ringwood), the festival provides students with the opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment. All performers receive individual written feedback from experienced educators, along with a commemorative medallion.

Australian Youth Band Open Day
The Australian Youth Band (AYB), is holding another Open Day on Saturday 28 March 2026.
This is a great opportunity for students to bring their instrument along to join in the fun of a rehearsal with the band, experience what it would be like to be a member of Melbourne’s premier youth performance ensemble, who undertake performances in country and tour internationally.
