Bits 'n' Bobs for YOU!

2027 PREP Enrolments are now open!
Make sure if you have a child who turns 5 years old by April 2027 that you begin their Prep enrolment process by completing their Enrolment form online now. You can do this by visiting our website at www.slblackburnsth.catholic.edu.au
Make sure you invite friends to come along for a visit. Any day is a great day to show families around our beautiful learning spaces.
We are also taking enrolments for children in other year levels.
Please help us get the word out that St Luke's is the school of choice in Blackburn South!
Smart Watches and Mobile Phones
As students begin to travel independently to and from school, they may have the need for a personal mobile phone or smart watch.
- When students arrive at school, they must switch the phone off and hand it in at the office. The phone will be stored in a safe place until the end of the school day.
- Smart watches can be worn during the school day, but must not be used for phone calls, texting, gaming or anything involving internet access. Parents need to disarm the watch from 8.40 am through to 3.25 pm.
- If you need to communicate with your child during school hours please contact the school office and a message will be happily passed on.
Children Arriving After 9am
It is a Victorian Government requirement that parents inform the school of your child's absence from school. Please advise all absences (part or full day) via our nForma portal.
- Parents - please make a note in nForma prior to 9.15am as the school is obliged to contact parents for unreported absences after this time.
- Must be signed in on the VPASS kiosk at the office by a parent/carer
- Parents can do this in advance, where it is an appointment booked prior to the day.
Children Leaving Early

After school hours...

MACSEYE Holiday Program
Attached to this newsletter is the Term 1 holiday program being offered by MACSEYE at St Luke's this term break. Make sure you take a peek to see the fantastic days planned.
We need to get healthy numbers to ensure our school remains a favourable venue option. This year we are sharing the holiday program with St Scholastica's, Burwood.
Please ensure you enrol your child/ren for one or more days if you require care during the holiday period.
