COMMUNITY

Connecting with the Community
Each year our Year 5 children lead our community by being our 'Connectors to the Community'. On their visit to Indra Kindergarten, they helped their kinder buddies make leprechaun catchers in preparation for next Tuesday - St Patrick’s Day- and then played on the outside equipment.
Everyone had a great time.

Did you know???
Every time we participate in a P&F fundraising activity or hold a school working bee, we save an enormous amount of money on:
- gardening costs which can be as high as $1200 a month in peak season
- maintenance costs with simple repairs like fixing a door, repairing a rusty lock or painting external doors that have been battered by our Aussie summer sun.
This means more money for the people who matter the most- our children.
We are currently looking at purchasing extra items for our playground to build the fun factor. Our second set of soccer goals were erected at the recent working bee and are being used EVERY DAY! We're ordering more library books to satisfy the thirst for our unquenchable readers and we are now holding games clubs three times a week with our lego, blocks and magnetics kits. Can't get much better than that to start a year with!
