Harmony Week Celebrations

On Wednesday, we decorated the dining room to celebrate Harmony Week. Students also participated in a range of activities, including bingo. Days like this highlight the importance of embracing diversity and inclusion, and we look forward to celebrating Harmony Week again in the years to come.

Year 11 Student Council Nomination

This week, I have called for nominations for two additional Year 11 Student Councillors. This provides new students at the College with the opportunity to either nominate themselves or provide input on who represents their cohort. If more than two nominations are received, the Year 11 student body will conduct a vote.

Country Week 2026

Earlier in the term, I called for student nominations for Country Week 2026. Students were asked to rank their sporting preferences from one (most preferred) to three (least preferred).

Based on student interest, I have nominated the College to compete in the following sports this year:

  • Hockey (Mixed)

  • Basketball (Boys)

  • Basketball (Girls)

  • AFL (Boys)

  • Volleyball (Boys)

  • Volleyball (Girls)

  • Netball (Girls)

Later this term, I will release the Country Week Team Try Out lists, and students will have the opportunity to try out for the sport they nominated. If a student’s first preference is unavailable, they will be added to the try-out list for their second or third preference.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have concerns regarding your child's well-being. One of my roles at the College is to connect parents and students with the various support services we offer.

Have a great weekend!
