REVIVE

The Secondary Student Leaders carry a significant mandate to cultivate and champion the Christian culture at Leighland Christian School. A key part of this responsibility is organising events that create meaningful opportunities for worship, fellowship and spiritual encouragement within our school community.
Revive is one such event. On Wednesday 10 June, we held our second Revive gathering for the year. Approximately 50 students and 20 Student Leaders from Devonport Christian School came together for an afternoon filled with ice cream, games, praise and worship. The atmosphere was joyful, welcoming, and centred on Christ.
The team invited local youth leader Annie Miles (from iSee Church Devonport) to share a message of encouragement with the students. Her words inspired many, reinforcing the biblical call to build one another up. As Scripture reminds us in Hebrews 10:24–25, we are to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds… encouraging one another.”
This spirit of encouragement was evident as students prayed for one another, worshipped together, and openly expressed their faith in our Lord and Saviour. Moments like these strengthen our community and deepen our shared commitment to living out the gospel.
