Call out for Bakers - Senior School Bake Sale
On the last day of term we will be holding our senior school bake sale. This much loved event is one that not only provides an opportunity to raise some money but also brings some very big smiles to those that wander the bake sale tables. In order to make this possible, we are looking for:
Donations of baked goods to sell at the stall from our Senior School Families (Grade 3-6) - things that can be easily portioned work best, eg. cupcakes, small cakes, biscuits, slices, however larger cakes can also be donated. Items will need to be dropped off to the office on Thursday, 25th or Friday morning on the 26th of June - we can't provide refrigeration, so they will need to be suitable for overnight storage. Those that are part of our junior school families will get an opportunity to display their baking skills / donate some goodies at the Junior School Bake Sale later in the year.
- Volunteers to assist on the day - we also need a team of people who can assist with an array of jobs on the day including set up, selling items and then pack down. If you've thought about volunteering before but didnt know where to start, the bake sales are a great entry into school events as they are relatively quick! A reminder that before you can volunteer at any school event you need to have a valid working with childrens check (they are free but take a bit of processing time), as well as register with the FWPS PA and then complete the school volunteers induction package.
Father's and Special Person's Day Stall
We are looking for a group of volunteers to bring together the Father's and Special Person's Say Stall in Term 3. Volunteer roles include sourcing and co-ordinating gifts, packaging items and running the stall. These stalls are a way to show our appreciation and love to the fathers and special people in our lives and this is a great volunteering opportunity for those who need a bit of flexibility. Costume Donations - Second Hand Uniform Stall
A reminder that you can give your dearly beloved children's costumes a second life by donating them to the Second Hand Uniform Staff for sale. Items will be made available for purchase for costumed events like Book Week. Items can be donated via the front office, please ensure they are clean / washed and in good condition.
