Middle Sub School Leader Rooms 10-18
Dear parents and carers,
Last week, our entire Middle Sub School enjoyed a wonderful excursion to 'All in Aerial'. Students participated enthusiastically in a range of activities, including balancing challenges, sensory swings, movement games, mat activities and small trampolines. These experiences encouraged students to develop their coordination, body awareness, confidence and willingness to try something new. We were incredibly proud of the way our students participated, transitioned between activities and worked collaboratively with their peers and staff. It was a highly successful and enjoyable day for everyone!
With the arrival of spring, students have also been enjoying gardening as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. They have been preparing the garden beds, planting seedlings, watering the plants and learning what they need to grow and thrive. Over the coming weeks, students will continue caring for the garden and observing the changes as their plants grow. The fresh produce they harvest will then be used during cooking sessions, helping students understand the exciting journey from garden to plate.
Warm regards,
Stefania Mantinioti

Room 14 has had a great start to term 3, with engaging learning experiences, such as Canine Comprehension with George the dog, the SAKG cooking and gardening program, the English Little Learners Love Literacy, Art, rehearsing for the School Performance, and living skills. The class enjoyed the All in Aerials excursion and the RACV Incursion.
We are all looking forward to the rest of the year with more excursions, lots of gardening and more engaging activities in Maths and English!
