Primary Book Week 📚
Our Primary students had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week!
Students and staff joined in a Book Week parade, proudly showing off their fantastic costumes and favourite book characters. It was wonderful to see so much excitement as everyone came together to celebrate.
Prior to the parade, students enjoyed listening to a shared story together. Visual supports were used throughout the story to support understanding, engagement and participation, helping to make the experience accessible and meaningful for all of our students.
It was a lovely opportunity for our Primary community to come together, celebrate books and stories, and most importantly, have lots of fun!
ROOM 5
This term, students in Room 5 have been resilient, flexible and building relationships with a new teacher and routines. Students have been learning turn taking, waiting, listening and group participation during social skills games.
As a class, we have been reading ‘The very hungry caterpillar.' We enjoyed dressing up and participating in the book week parade at the gym. We are now practising for the concert!
