30 November Charlie Bell scholarship closes

Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 grants to young people aged 15-20 who have had their education disrupted due to medical challenges and are now preparing to pursue university, TAFE, or vocational studies in 2026.

The funds can be used towards university fees, apprenticeship tools, course supplies, or anything that helps remove barriers to success.

 

(Charlie Bell was an Australian who started his career as a teenager working in McDonalds in Sydney and became the head of the McDonald’s global empire. He died of cancer aged 44.)

Louisa Alessandri Memorial Fund Scholarship for students with physical disability

Applications are now invited for the Louisa Alessandri Memorial Fund Scholarship, valued at $10,000, which is intended to help students with physical disabilities to achieve their career aspirations. The application period will close Wednesday 30 September, and the Scholarship will be presented in February 2027.
