28 August Applications close Australian Tax Office (ATO) School Leaver Program

The ATO School Leaver Program offers Year 12 graduates a permanent, full-time career, with a competitive salary and training and development opportunities. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, earn a Certificate III in IT or Business and start your career. 

Positions are available in Perth.

 

A competitive starting salary of $58,604 plus 15.4% super. After successfully completing the program, you’ll progress to a role at the next level with a salary of $66,274 plus 15.4% super.

31 August Applications Close Pinnacles Foundation Scholarship Open for 2026 

 

From 2027 the Pinnacles Foundation Scholarship value $9,000 

You need to be 18 on 20 January 2027, undertaking full-time studies at a public tertiary institution (including TAFE or university) and identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

 

We provide educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTQIA+ Australians to realise their full potential. Scholarships are awarded for fulltime study at public institutions of higher education in Australia, for the purpose of gaining an educational or vocational qualification in any profession, trade or the arts.

The Elevate scholarships are for domestic female and non-binary students who are planning to undertake a STEM degree or a higher degree to improve business acumen in 2027.

9 September Applications close Curtin Scholarship

The 2027 John Curtin Scholarship Program is now open for applications.

High school principals are invited to nominate students in the top 5% of the school’s graduating year who can demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities and engagement in community service. 

 

The nomination form and the reference letter are to be completed and endorsed by the high school principal. These documents need to be attached with the student’s application and submitted online by the student.

 

If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact the Scholarships Office at scholarships@curtin.edu.au

Students submit their own online application with the school nomination form and reference letter (as above), along with their school reports, achievement list and essay/statement.

10 September Arts Fellowship for Young People 

 

Fellowships of $26,000 are available for individuals aged 18 - 25 to grow their participation in the arts and develop pathways for a creative future.

Funding may support research, skills development, residencies, creation of new work, mentorships, artist fees/living allowance, materials, and travel.

 

Up to 5 Arts Fellowships for Young People will be awarded each year.

25 September Information Session Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship

This is one of the best scholarships for school leavers who are smart at STEM subjects and who want to create a better world.

Our Young Technologists Scholars get up to three years of financial support for their studies, networking opportunities, mentoring programs and paid internships with senior business leaders and industry-based experts as well as the chance to develop critical soft skills through the Disruptive Leaders Program. The program includes five days in Asia as part of an international learning experience to broaden minds and inspire new ways of thinking

9 September – 2 October ATAR Revision Sessions

If you're a Year 12 ATAR student, don’t miss ECU’s free revision sessions.

You can choose from a variety of subjects, each one delivered by a teacher familiar with the 2026 syllabus.

 

Select one subject and order 1 ticket. You can book for multiple subjects by repeating the process and selecting a different subject.
