LUCAS LEAP

At Lucas LEAP, we’ve been busy putting our green thumbs to work! This term, we’ve started growing our very own mushrooms, which gives the children a hands-on opportunity to learn about food production and the life cycle of fungi. The excitement is growing right alongside our mushrooms, with students eagerly checking in each day to watch their progress.

In addition to our mushroom project, we’ve launched a range of sustainability activities aimed at helping us all think about how we can care for our planet, from waste sorting and recycling challenges to working alongside Dirt Girl from Dirt Girl World.

We can’t wait to see our mushrooms flourish and our sustainable practices grow even stronger throughout the term!
