Sport/Art

Mrs. Parker has been ensuring that our students are learning correct technique and rules for a variety of athletic events this term. Students have been engaged in high jump, long jump, sprints, discus and minor games during Sport and PE sessions. Students are not only learning the correct rules and skills, but have opportunities to rehearse their skills and if they want, try out for the upcoming District Athletics carnival. 

We are lucky to have had Miss Mel come to deliver specialist art sessions with the students over the past two weeks; many students may recall her from Kindergarten! 

The students have been studying texts and then creating their own pieces of art inspired by the stories. Each art session produces lots of beautiful work, and even more smiles..
