School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)
We’ve had a fantastic start to Term 3 with SWPBS up and running straight away! Students have jumped back into following our school expectations to be responsible, safe, respectful and a learner, and it’s been great to see so many positive behaviours across classrooms and the yard in just the first few weeks.
Our SWPBS Behaviour Matrix is a simple chart that shows the positive behaviours we expect from students in different parts of the school program, such as the classroom, playground and in the community. The matrix explains what our school expectations look like in everyday situations, so students clearly understand what is expected. By explicitly teaching and reinforcing these behaviours, we support students to develop positive habits and contribute to a calm, caring school community.
National Pyjama Day
Staff and students across the school wore their favourite PJ's, onesies, trackies, hoodies and oodies to raise money for the Pyjama Foundation on National Pyjama Day. The SRC requested that everyone bring in a gold coin donation to support The Pyjama Foundation to raise much-needed awareness and funds for children in foster care. Thank you to everyone involved. We raised a wonderful total of $350 for a very important fundraiser.
Thank you to our SRC representatives for promoting this event within their sections.
