Principal's Message
Mr Stephen Mahoney
We extend our sincere congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2025 who successfully completed their final Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams on Friday, November 7.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication, perseverance, and outstanding preparation they demonstrated throughout the examination period and their entire two years of study. We now look forward with great anticipation to the release of their results on Thursday, December 18.
From Wednesday, 3 December to Wednesday, 10 December, Year 11 students will be engaging in their first Year 12 HSC assessment tasks. It is crucial that all students focus on these tasks and should be now engaged in good study routines to maximise their learning and performance in these assessment tasks. Please see the Compass post from Mrs Slater regarding the exam timetable.
On Tuesday, 9 December the College will host an orientation day for Year 10 students currently attending OLM Burraneer and De La Salle Caringbah coming to St Aloysius College in 2026. This program will deliver some prerequisite skills required for Stage 6 and provide an introduction to the College. We look forward to engaging with these students for this very important program.
I wish to extend my deepest appreciation to our students, parents, and staff for their extraordinary generosity and effort during our recent collection drive for those in need in Fiji.
The response was overwhelming, resulting in a very successful fundraiser that gathered a significant volume of essential items. Your contributions truly embody the Lasallian values of compassion and service at St Aloysius College Cronulla.
We were especially proud to receive a beautiful email from Monsignor Brian Rayner, who praised our College community for its remarkable spirit of giving. Thank you for demonstrating such a powerful commitment to helping others.
Email from Monsignor Brian Rayner
Greetings Stephen,

Dear students of St Aloysius,
I am so impressed with your generosity, and that of your families, in donating goods for the poor of Fiji. For many years I have witnessed the good that people do in following the teaching of Jesus to help the poor and underprivileged. It is a message of our late Pope Francis, and already high on the agenda of Pope Leo, to assist our fellow members of the human family who are struggling to live because of their circumstances not of their choosing or fault.
You have evidenced that you have a good heart by your kind gifts, and I trust that this will be a real virtue as you grow older. What extraordinary students you are. Your parents and principal must be so proud of you. Continue to love those who are struggling, and while we may not eliminate poverty, each of us can make a difference. If you care for others, you are already on the path to heaven.
May God bless you all.
As per my letter to parents on Compass, I warmly invite all parents and carers to join us as we celebrate the academic achievements, commitment, and hard work of our students at the Years 7, 8, and 11 End of Year Awards Assembly.
This special assembly is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of our young men and women across various academic, mission and pastoral activities throughout the year. Your presence provides invaluable encouragement and recognition for our students. We look forward to celebrating their success with you.
As we continue the exciting transition of St Aloysius College Cronulla from a Years 11-12 College to a Years 7-12 Coeducational College in 2026, I would like to share with you the confirmed list of our Senior and Middle Leaders who will guide our College community through this pivotal academic year.

We are confident that this dedicated and talented team will provide exceptional leadership, support, and vision as we welcome our new cohorts and successfully establish St Aloysius College as a thriving Years 7-12 coeducational learning environment.
