WORLD CULTURES DAY

2025

Last term we celebrated our very first World Cultures Day! Our day began with a Welcome Assembly where we celebrated our World Cultures Day Art Competition Winners.

Congratulations to all who won this year. Students spent the rest of the day moving around the school “visiting” different parts of the world. Thank you to our Year 5/6 students for  planning and running the wonderful activities.

Other popular parts of the day were the variety of the food tastings, watching short films from around the world, and playing games in the Cultural Hub.

Students looked fantastic in their colourful and traditional clothing  and I would like to thank families for their efforts in this. This week, students reflected on the day and drew pictures of their favourite moments.

It truly was a wonderful way to end the term.
