3:05 pm Playground Clears:

We appreciate that many of our parents really enjoy giving their children extra time on our playgrounds after school. Sadly, we have had to implement a new system in which we clear our school and playgrounds at 3:05 pm each day.

The After-School Care programme run by Gaye on our school grounds has many children to look after. Up until now, it has been hard for Gaye to keep track of her children with lots of 'extras' around. 

A second issue has been that some children who should be making their own way home or out to the front of our school to meet their parents straight after school have been going to the playground and losing track of time.

To address these issues and ensure safety for all our children, we have implemented a "Please Clear the Grounds" announcement at 3:05 pm.

This allows children who are with their parents either 15 or 25 minutes on our playgrounds before they need to leave.

I do apologise that it has to be this way, but as you all know, our children's safety and well-being are prioritised above everything else. Thank you for your understanding and support.
