THANK YOU HELPERS

The Parents & Friends Team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents, teachers & staff that supported the Father's & Carers Day stall held on Wednesday Sept 3. It was a bustling day with the junior swimming excursion as well as the stall, & we are so proud of our junior students for getting through it, & gathering their older siblings to attend the stall together. It's always a big & exciting day for our students to go shopping for the dads & special figures in their lives.

We would like to thank the whole school community for their support of this event, & are grateful to have so many grade 5/6 helpers offering to assist at the stall. Some of them were natural leaders, looking after the younger students with their shopping & questions on the day.

Our warmest thanks to the parents who gave up their time on the day to assist at the stall: Ellen Blackley, Donna Seidel, Donna Mulder, Donna Peck, Lisa Wallbrink, Alicia Pritchard, Doreen Hastas , Kim Hodge & Jo Sahhar. Events like this cannot happen without your input & involvement, leading upto the day, & on the day!

DISCO

On Friday September 12 we are planning to have the Kalinda Disco during school hours for all students. This year's theme is "Spring!" Think flower-print t-shirts, bright colours , blue or green t-shirts, or even tye-dye.

It will be a free-dress day for students to wear something they already have in the wardrobe at home that matches the theme.

GET READY FOR COLOUR RUN 2025

We are looking forward to a wonderful Spring, & term 4 will bring more exciting events for our students!

The colour Splatacular Run4Fun will return to Kalinda on Friday Nov 7. If any parents would like to be involved in the preparations for this event, please email us at kalindapandf@gmail.com

We will send out more information about this event next term. A reminder that students will need a WHITE T-SHIRT for the colour run day.
