đââď¸ Year 6 Charlie Shines at Athletics Carnival
Year 6 student Charlie had an exciting day at the Athletics Carnival, competing in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and the relay. Although she didnât make it into the 100 meters initially, Charlie earned a spot on the relay team after placing fourth overall in the tryouts.
Â
Reflecting on the day, Charlie shared: âThe relay was nerve-wracking, especially with my asthma, but it was so much fun competing with my peers. My favourite part was winning the relay, we were fast and worked really well together. My goal was to earn at least one ribbon, and I achieved it with our first-place win!â
Â
Charlie also highlighted the support from her teammates during the day and the joy of having fun with friends. Congratulations, Charlie, on your well-deserved ribbon and a fantastic display of perseverance, teamwork, and school spirit!
