From the Leadership Team

Dear GPS Community,

In recent times it has been very exciting to see our new uniform hit the shelves. This new look for our school will take us into the future with the most up to date material and design. 

It is important though to reiterate that there is a two-year transition period between the current and the new uniform. This has been intentionally put in place because under no circumstances do we want to see our families disadvantaged or out of pocket. Our current uniform is still more than acceptable and remains an excellent option for students to wear.

As we come to the end of another jam-packed term, I again take the opportunity to wish our children and families a happy and safe two-week break from the 26th. I also take the opportunity to thank all of our generous volunteers who willingly give up their time to help the school; attending excursions, sports carnivals, helping in the canteen, Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls, serving on P&F or Governing Council and so much more. Your generous contributions are greatly appreciated and we would not be able to provide so many opportunities for our students if it wasn’t for the generous volunteers who help our school. Thank You!

Finally, I acknowledge the wonderful staff we have here at GPS for their dedication and service to our school and most importantly our students. On behalf of the entire school community, I thank you all for your efforts and hard work and wish you all a very well-earned break when the time comes in a couple of weeks.

Absences / Late Arrivals

Parents are encouraged to download the 'Sentrals for Parents' App in which you can complete the absentee notice. Free to download directly from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Access more information for Portal and app.

If students arrive late, please ensure they report to the front office to obtain a late slip upon arrival, and that the late slip is provided to their teacher.
