VOLUNTEERS

In past years, we’ve found it difficult to get enough volunteers to run our Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls, and unfortunately, they haven’t run at a profit to support our school as they have in the past. Because of this, the Governing Council has decided to hold raffles instead as a fun and effective way to fundraise for our school community. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!

However, we will host several fundraising activities this year including a school disco, our annual Colour Run for fun, a Christmas stall, and the Christmas raffle.

For these events to go ahead and to be able to organise food/stock etc we will seek volunteers a month in advance. If we do not have the appropriate number of volunteers we may need to cancel them 2 weeks in advance to take the pressure off those that have volunteered and to ensure we have not got stock, food etc that will go to waste.

Generous Donation

Thank you to a local group of wonderful ladies who knit beanies to sell at Craft Markets throughout the year. Each year we are one of 4 local school to be the fortunate recipients of their kind donation. This year the donation was $745!

The money will be used to assist school families who may be facing hardship, ensuring all students have what they need to learn and thrive.
