Wow! What an amazing term of HPE we have had. We’ve had a great time learning a variety of striking sports, and for the last four weeks our learners from Holly and Stillwell have been very lucky to take part in a cricket program run by Cricket SA. During this program, students learned a range of skills and strategies to help encourage success in the game.

In other news, we recently competed in the Onkaparinga South Districts SAPSASA Carnival, where our students participated in track and field events. A number of our students took home ribbons for third, second, or even first place where they have been invited to compete in the State championship for their event. Most importantly, all of our students competed to the best of their ability, which resulted in Hackham East taking overall second place in the small schools category.

We are extremely proud of our students’ accomplishments and the effort they displayed. Let’s all look forward to a fantastic Term 2!
