District Athletics

What a fantastic day we had at the District Athletics Carnival! We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather as 51 SJV students represented our school and competed across a range of athletics events.

Our students showed fantastic sportsmanship, determination and enthusiasm throughout the day, giving their best and proudly representing SJV. We are very proud to announce that our team finished 5th overall, which is a wonderful achievement!  

Even more exciting, 20 students have qualified to compete at the Division Athletics event next term. Congratulations to these students, and well done to everyone who competed and contributed to our team’s success.

A huge thank you to Sam Yap, our wonderful parent helper, for giving up her time to assist with the high jump on the day. We also greatly appreciate all the staff who attended and supported our students throughout the carnival.

Well done, SJV athletes — you should all be very proud of your efforts!
