Dear Families,
On behalf of our entire SJV school team, I wish a very Happy Father’s Day for this Sunday to all the incredible dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our community.
Your daily support, quiet patience, and unwavering love create a strong foundation for our students. Whether you are helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines at school events, or offering a word of encouragement, your involvement makes a profound difference.

Lamont Book Fair
Our annual Book Fair will be set up inside the School Library during Book Week offering a wonderful selection of books. It's a great opportunity to stock up on new home reads while directly supporting our school library.
Staffing Update
Ms Nathalie Lesur has decided to continue taking some personal leave throughout Term 4.
Miss Tahira Tannen will continue teaching 3/4LG from Monday to Thursday, with Mrs Nicole Glancy teaching the class on Fridays.
Assembly Awards
Congratulations to Cody (3/4AL) and Elijah (1/2B) for receiving SJV awards this week! Cody's award was for the PBL value of respect, which he received for always being happy and cheerful, and showing great respect and a love of learning. Elijah's award was also for the value of respect, which he received for his calm and gentle nature with others in everything he does. Keep up the great work Cody and Elijah!

Connor's Run
Connor’s Run is less than 2 weeks away and our team of teachers, students and their families will be lacing up their shoes to run/skip/hop/walk the distance in support of paediatric brain cancer.
This is our third year supporting this worthy cause and we’d love for your support once again! Right now, your donation of any amount will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact. Last year, SJV raised over $3,400. Can we beat it this year??
