Principal's Report

Welcome to our 2025 school year. 2025 is a special year for the Church.  It is a Holy Year, a Jubilee Year. A Jubilee year is a time to come together with kindness, share hope, be fair, and happily serve God while living in peace with everyone around us. The theme for the Jubilee Year is Pilgrims of Hope. We pray throughout the year that we will be filled with hope as we journey on together through 2025. I pray that our school will be a safe and nurturing environment where all will be encouraged and supported to inquire, ignite and inspire in God’s presence and to ‘Shine Our Light in Faith and Learning’ as individuals and to find a sense of belonging and community. I reaffirm that as our Parish of Christ the Light and our school work together, we will strive for it to be a place of healing and forgiveness; valuing and guiding the whole person - mind, body and spirit – and directing us to look to the love of God, the source of life.

I would like to congratulate our newly announced student school leaders for 2025 and congratulate all students who prepared and presented their speeches. They displayed courage and maturity in what is a very confronting situation.
