Music

Music classes are alive with the sound of Christmas music in the last few weeks of Term. We’re having some fun on the boomwhackers playing along to our favourite songs and carols. 

There are also some photos here of Grade 1 practicing the song “Miss Mary Mack” with a hand-clapping game. These games are a wonderful way to develop many skills for music and other learning areas - hand-eye coordination, rhythm, using our whole brain together to coordinate movement and singing, cooperation and communication with partner, developing singing technique and more. 

Grade 6 have been developing skills on multiple instruments as they practice playing 12 bar blues together. Mrs Collinson dropped by music class to take some photos of them in action.
