Welcome to Step-Up 2026

It has been wonderful to welcome our new Year 10s to Brigidine Campus. They have settled in well and are slowly becoming a part of the furniture. We trust they feel welcomed and encourage them to continue to reach out with their queries and concerns. 

We began Step-Up on Monday 24 November with year level assemblies that outlined our expectations for the students within our community. We shared with them their rights and responsibilities; their right to an education where teachers are teaching and students are learning and their responsibility in this; they are responsible for their own learning and for the impact they have on the people around them. 

We offered the start of 2026 as a fresh start and spoke of the opportunity they get in every moment to show the world who they are by the choices they make. We look forward to seeing our 2026 Year 10 - 12 students flourish. 

We further reminded our students of the need for them to aim to be at school 100% of the time, and 90% attendance being the requirement. Please support your child with obtaining a medical certificate or statutory declaration should they be unwell and unable to attend school. 

We look forward to the last week of classes for the year knowing that the foundations being laid in Step-Up are crucial for starting strong next year.
