Instrumental Music Soiree

On Tuesday night we watched a showcase of Beaumaris Secondary College music students performances, as well as performing as well. There were a range of instruments including vocal, brass, woodwind and strings. All parents and fellow students were very impressed with the performances and were grateful to all the teachers involved for organising it. Although it was a small audience, it was still nerve wracking. We think it is important for all young musicians to experience these concerts The students interacted well with the audience and it was fun to watch.

VCE Music Workshop

Our VCE Music students had an enriching experience performing, observing and learning in a performance setting on Tuesday 21 August. They received valuable feedback from VCE Music teachers and peers and participated in a collaborative workshop with Mentone Girls' and Parkdale Secondary Colleges. This experience provided great insight into the performance requirements for their end-of-year examination. Well done, everyone!
