CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES

On Saturday 29th August the Year 6 students were confirmed by Fr Fabian.  The children participated in Mass and shared what they had learned on their retreat day about St Carlo Acutis.  Fr Fabian’s Homily focused on St Carlo’s short life and the difference he made in a short time he had as a young person and how strong his faith was. He spoke about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and allowing these gifts to help make a difference by being active Catholics in the community.

Fr Fabian was impressed and commented on how the candidates and families prayed and participated reverently during the receiving of the sacrament.

We thank parents and teachers who have walked alongside with the candidates in preparing them. Special thanks to our RELs Rozeta and Anne along with Fr Fabian and Fr Antony for their coordination and support to make this a memorable celebration.

May God’s love and blessing fill their heart with hope as they walk in the footsteps of our Lord. We pray that the gifts of the Holy Spirit inspire them to make a difference. We are immensely proud of each student and the way they prepared and presented themselves for this Sacrament.

FATHER’S DAY

Happy Father's Day to all our fathers, grandfathers and male role models in our community. We wish you a day full of celebration, love and joy as you are spoilt by your family and children.

Thank you to our Parents and Friends Association who started cooking breakfast for all the fathers, grandfathers and special friends at 6:30am for all to enjoy.  It was a great start to the day and a great social event for all the fathers, grandfathers and special friends to enjoy a special breakfast together.  The Hall was filled with lots of interesting conversations, games and lots of eating and coffee.  A great atmosphere enjoyed by all who attended.
