On Wednesday the 16th of September, we went to Genazzano College in Kew to present the amazing work we did as a community for our Hoodies, Woolies and Winter Goodies Donation Drive.
We presented in front of 5 other Social Justice teams from different schools and were congratulated on a presentation that had great props to let others see the work we did.

After our presentations we got into small groups and came up with a Christmas campaign to share ideas about promoting fundraisers and donation drives. One group did a cooking show vlog and another did a role-play. It was lots of fun!

As we return to school, the world is celebrating the
800th anniversary of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
St. Francis of Assisi loved Jesus and chose to live simply, sharing what he had with people who were poor. He cared for sick and lonely people, and saw animals and all creation as gifts from God. Francis helped start the Franciscan family of brothers, who followed his example of prayer, peace, and kindness. He reminds us that small acts of love can make the world brighter.
We remember St. Francis of Assisi by sharing generously, caring for someone in need, and thanking God for a creature or part of nature.

THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!
Sacrament Celebrations at Our Lady’s Primary School for 2026 have now concluded. 2027 dates will be posted late 2026 for families preparing for their next Sacrament Celebrations.
Families who have baptised children in the Catholic Faith must ensure that baptism certificates were presented during enrolment. If you are unsure, it is better to be safe than to wonder, please bring in a copy of your child’s baptism certificate to be added to their file.
Parents of children in the Chaldean, Maronite, Syrian, Syro Malabar or other Eastern Christian faith are asked to do the same if they would like their child/ren to receive the Sacraments with OLPS in the future.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Sacrament times please email me at: aiacopino@olps.vic.edu.au
