100 Days of Learning
On Monday, the 27th of July, we celebrated our 100 days of learning! We had a fun-filled morning with crafts, playing I Spy, and even a piñata! Congratulations to all of the junior students on achieving 100 days of learning.
Foundation - Grade 1 Writing
This week we have been applying all of our writing knowledge into writing full sentences based off of an image. We have been focusing on using the connector word 'and' to connect two simple sentences together to create one awesome sentence. The students have done a fantastic job at sounding out the words on their own and using their writer's checklist to assist with editing their work to ensure that have included capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

Year 3-6 Humanities
This term in Humanities we are researching humans' reliance on the environment for different resources including natural, human and capital.
We begin by identifying different kinds of maps and what information these maps provide us with. We are also looking at what the environment is, and how this connects with our needs and wants. Students will learn about sustainable practices, including sustainable practices used by First Nations peoples, and will investigate the positive impact we can have on the environment.
Sandhurst Netball Carnival
Last Wednesday, our students joined with Inglewood Primary School and Bridgewater Primary School to compete under the St Inglebridge banner for the final time at the Division Netball Carnival in Bendigo.
We entered two teams, a Girls Team and a Boys Team, with both competing in Division 1. Although our students were placed in a much higher division and faced some very strong opposition, their spirits remained high throughout the day. It was wonderful to see their confidence, teamwork and skills improve with each game.
Our schools have a proud history of combining teams to ensure that, despite being from small rural schools, our students do not miss out on opportunities to participate in the sports they enjoy. The students mixed well, encouraged one another and represented their schools with enthusiasm and excellent sportsmanship.
Thank you to the staff, coaches, families and supporters who helped make the day possible. We have greatly valued our sporting partnership with Inglewood and Bridgewater and will always remember the opportunities and friendships created through the St Inglebridge teams.
