Welcome back everyone.
I hope you all had a restful break and are feeling excited for the new school year!
We have been busy settling back into our classroom routines and making sure our Foundation students feel welcomed and comfortable as valued members of our class. Our Foundation students have begun learning to write their names and are exploring the letters and sounds m, s, and a.
Our Grade One and Two students have been revising their reading strategies and comprehension skills, and have enjoyed writing their “All About Me” pieces to introduce themselves and share their interests.
A friendly reminder for Grade One and Two families to please return your child’s reader folder if you have not already done so. Foundation students will receive their folders next week once they are feeling confident with our reading routines.
