Catholic Education Week Mass 

Last week we gathered with the communities of Sacred Heart Primary School, St Brendan's Primary School, St Mary’s Primary school and Trinity College Colac for our Catholic Education Week Mass, we were reminded of the strength and beauty of coming together in faith.

The theme, “Peace be with you,” invited us to reflect on the ways we bring peace into our own lives, classrooms and communities. Peace is not only the absence of conflict, but also the presence of kindness, understanding, forgiveness and hope. Through prayer, song and celebration, we were reminded that each of us is called to be a person of peace in the way we speak, act and care for others.

It was wonderful to celebrate alongside other Catholic school communities in Colac and recognise that although we are different schools, we are united through our shared faith and mission. We thank all students, staff, parish and family members who helped make the Mass such a meaningful celebration.

We also thank Andre Delorenzo and his staff from One Movement for leading our Year 6 students in a fun exercise program. This was followed by lunch at the Memorial Square.
