Year 3/4
Across this term, year ¾ have participated in a range of games including netball, invasion games and also enjoyed learning an indigenous game called Puloga.
In preparation for our next House Carnival, we will be beginning our Athletics unit for the remainder of the term.
Year 7
Year 7 HPE class have been investigating invasion games and how to attack and defend in them.
The class finished the unit with a Speedball tournament. Speedball is a mix of soccer and European handball. It is a fast-paced game with 3 different ways to score and 2 modes of play. The class enjoyed learning how to play the game and discussing tactics to use in play.
LMR Cross Country
On Tuesday the 2nd of June, three students competed in the LMR Cross Country.
Congratulations to Jade Cramp who finished 8th and has been invited to compete in the State Cross Country in Melbourne. Well done to both Noah Winslett who finished 11th and Zane Polkinghorne for their participation in the day.
