Giving it Our All at Diocesan Cross Country

We are bursting with pride following a fantastic day at the Diocesan Cross Country. Our school community was represented with incredible energy and heart, and it was wonderful to see our students give their absolute best on the track. From the first whistle to the final sprint, our runners showed great determination and pushed through the challenges of the course with smiles on their faces.

Beyond the race results, the real highlight was the way our students supported one another. The cheering from the sidelines was constant, proving once again that our school spirit is second to none. Whether they were finishing in the top pack or simply focusing on completing the distance, every student contributed to a successful and positive day for our school.

We want to extend a huge congratulations to everyone who participated. Your sportsmanship and grit made us all very proud. We also want to thank the staff and organizers who made the event possible and ensured our team was ready to hit the ground running. Well done to all our athletes!

A massive shout-out to Damon Shadbolt! Damon went above and beyond helping us track down the right parts and putting in the elbow grease to fix our shade tents. We’d be lost (and sunburnt) without his help!

Rugby 7’s 

A massive well done to Jax, Gus, and Cooper for their fantastic efforts at the recent Rugby 7’s! Our boys played with great skill and sportsmanship throughout the day, representing our school with pride.

It was wonderful to see them join forces with students from Bingara and Barraba Central Schools to form a combined team. They worked seamlessly together on the field, showing how sport can bring different communities together.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Adam Cabot for coaching the boys. We truly appreciate the time and expertise he shared to help the team play so well. Congratulations to everyone involved on a great day of rugby!
