Current News

Dear Families,

Welcome to Term 2—a busy and exciting time in the life of our school. This term, we look forward to celebrating the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation, supporting our students as they continue their faith journey with reverence and joy.

We will also came together to acknowledge ANZAC Day, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country. Thank you to Mrs Pejic and our Senior Leaders for preparing such a moving service.

As a community, we will celebrate the incredible women in our lives, marking Mother’s Day with gratitude and appreciation. We will also engage in National Reconciliation Week, reflecting on our shared history and commitment to walking together with respect and understanding. Our younger students will enjoy participating in National Simultaneous Storytime, celebrating the joy of reading and storytelling.

Our Year 3/4 students are eagerly anticipating their school camp at Sovereign Hill, a wonderful opportunity for learning, growth and shared experiences.

Thank you for being such an important part of our community and our shared story. We look forward to a rich and rewarding term ahead.

ANZAC Day

Loving God,

We gather as a school community to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for our country on this ANZAC Day. We give thanks for their courage, their bravery, and their commitment to peace and freedom.

Help us to honour their legacy by the way we live each day—showing kindness, standing up for what is right, and caring for one another. May we be people of peace in our words and actions.

We pray for all those who serve our country today, that you keep them safe and guide them in their work. We also pray for their families, who support them with love and strength.

God of peace, may your spirit be with us as we remember. Help us to build a world where understanding and compassion lead the way.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

Amen

House Cross Country

On Friday 1st May our Year 3-6 students will participate in our Annual House Cross Country event.

Events like Cross Country offer far more than just a race. They build resilience as students challenge themselves to keep going, even when it feels difficult. They promote physical fitness and wellbeing, while also strengthening friendships and a sense of belonging within our school community. The encouragement from peers, staff and families creates an atmosphere where every student can experience success.

We wish all students who participate good luck.
