YEAR 7 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 4

Year 7 Camp: Wild Side Adventure Centre - Tent Allocations 

Wednesday 19 August – Friday 21 August (Week 6)

Thank you to all families who have completed the permission slip for the Year 7 Camp.

Camp permission forms are now overdue. The permission slip can be accessed via the InForm tab in the MyCE App. Please note that you can also access MyCE via a desktop computer, which may make the process easier.

If you are experiencing any difficulties completing the permission slip, please contact the College Office for assistance.

In Pastoral Group (PG), we will be working with students to help them develop the independence and organisational skills needed to prepare for camp.

Semester 1 – Academic Achievement

Congratulations to the Year 7 students who received an Academic Achievement Award for Semester 1 at this week's College Assembly. These students have demonstrated dedication, perseverance and a strong commitment to their studies. They should be extremely proud of their outstanding start to high school.

School Photos

This week, students received their school photo orders. If you ordered school photos, please ensure your child has presented these to you. A ‘second chance’ card was issued to students without a school photo order. This card has a proof of their photo and an order code to use should you wish to place an order. 

E-Bike/E-Scooter Safety - Police Presentation

This week, students participated in a presentation from the Queensland Police Service outlining the new E-Bike and E-Scooter laws. Students engaged positively with the information provided and asked thoughtful questions to clarify their understanding. 

As a College community, we are committed to supporting our young people and their families in navigating these changes and promoting safe and responsible E-Bike and E- Scooter use. We hope that students gained valuable knowledge and a clearer understanding of their responsibilities when using these devices.

WHOLE-OF-COLLEGE NOTICES

School Fees and Levies - Term 3, 2026 

School fees and levies for Term 3 were issued via email on Monday, 27 July 2026. The due date for payment is Wednesday, 10 August 2026. 

Please contact the Accounts Team if you are a fee payer and you have not received a copy of your emailed statement.  

The Accounts Team is also available to assist families who may wish to set up an approved payment plan, if full payment by the due date is not possible.
