College Leadership Team

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Academic excellence is not defined solely by grades; it is the result of consistent effort, determination and a commitment to personal growth. Throughout Semester 1, students demonstrated these qualities through their hard work, resilience and dedication to learning.

At our Academic Assembly this week, we recognised 124 students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 13 or higher in Semester 1. By embracing every opportunity and making each lesson count, these students have challenged themselves to achieve their very best.

Our College Captain, Jack, also shared valuable advice about achieving academic success through a Q&A session with Ms Manders.  Breaking assignments into smaller, manageable tasks, overcoming procrastination by making an early start, seeking support from teachers sooner rather than later, and engaging in regular revision rather than leaving study until the night before an exam are all effective strategies that support academic growth and success.
