Class 5 News

Hello Class 5 Families,

What a term! It has been jam-packed with all kinds of adventures. We have wrapped up our Local Region and Egypt Main Lessons and are now delving into Ancient Greece. We are beginning with the history, the development of city states, and, of course, the Olympics. 

Please make sure you have the 8th of September marked in your diary for the Greek Olympics Event. You are welcome to come and cheer on your young Olympian. This will be followed by the Greek feast. Please research with your student some different Greek recipes and then choose one to bring to share. 

If your surname begins with A-G, please bring a sweet dish, and H-Z please bring a savoury dish. As always, please ensure the food is nut free and any GF options are appreciated. 

If you have olive branches or any white sheets that we could use for togas, please let me know. It should be an event to remember!
