Grateful Hearts

Loving God,

As we begin this new school year, we pause to give thanks.

We thank you for the gift of a fresh start, for new classrooms, new friendships, and new opportunities to learn and grow.

We are grateful for our students, for their energy, curiosity, and kindness.

We give thanks for our families, who support, encourage, and walk beside us.

We thank you for our teachers and staff, who share their gifts so generously and help our children become the best they can be.

Help us to notice the blessings of each day, the small successes, the laughter, the challenges that help us grow stronger.

May gratitude shape our words and actions. May we be patient with one another, generous in spirit, and joyful in learning.

Bless our school community throughout this year. Guide us in all we do, and help us to always give thanks.
